- A tweet on Twitter by Claire revealed that his birthday is 14th June as an announcement for chapter 6. In chapter 4, he was born in 1995 so he was 16 in chapter 4 and 17 in 6.
- A concept picture of him made in 2015 had antennae, yellow hat and scarf and the coat had sleeves. This became his pre-death of Green Cyborg look.
- His name is a reversed order of Cliff Edwards (minus the s at the end of Edward), who was named after and was also born on 14th June in 1895.
